mycart ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal shopping cart app that lets you save and share products you love. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

• Email address — collected when you create an account, used only for login and account recovery.
• Username — chosen by you at sign-up, displayed publicly on your profile.
• Profile photo — optional, uploaded by you.
• Cart items — product names, images, links, and brands you save to your cart.
• Reactions and comments — interactions you make on items in the app.

Browser Extension

The mycart browser extension reads product information (title, image, brand) from the webpage you are currently viewing, only when you open the extension. This data is sent to your mycart account when you choose to save an item. The extension does not collect browsing history, track pages you visit, or run in the background.

• To provide and operate the mycart service
• To display your cart, profile, and activity to people you choose to share with
• To authenticate your account securely

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored securely via Supabase and served through Vercel. Both providers maintain their own privacy and security standards.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
